先日、コストコに行ってびっくり。もうハロウィーン？！
まだ８月だよね？！
The other day, I went to Costco and was really surprised. Halloween already? Really? It's only August, right? 

もっとびっくりしたのは、日本のコストコでも今、ハロウィーンの衣装を売ってること！！
What surprised me more is that the Costco in Japan are also selling Halloween costumes right now. 

ハロウィーンの衣装で子供達の間でどんなキャラクターが流行ってるのか分かるよね。
毎年、ディズニーのプリンセス系が多いな〜と思ってたけど、今年はちょっと違うのかな？コストコで売ってる衣装は、可愛い系ではなく、魔女とかちょっと大人っぽい感じの衣装が多かった。
You can find out what characters are in for this year by looking at children's costumes. I always think that Disney princesses are popular, but seems like this year, it's different? Instead of cute costumes like Disney princesses, I saw a lot of more mature looking costumes like witch costumes.

ここ数年、娘はディズニーのプリンセスの衣装をハロウィーンに着てるけれど、今年はどうだろう？日本でプリキュアの衣装が欲しいと言っていたけど、７千円近くしてた。。。アメリカでプリキュア着ても誰もそのキャラクター分からないし、７千円は高すぎ！！
For the past few years, my daughter chooses to be one of the Disney princesses, but I wonder what she'll be this year? While we were in Japan, she wanted to get a Puricure (Japanese anime character) costume, but it cost about $70. Nobody will recognize that character and $70 is too expensive!
