Have you been naughty or nice?

Naughty and nice both start with the letter N, so we often hear those two words around Christmas time. And in the US, it's said that Santa has a naughty and nice list.

What would you like for Christmas?" "Have you been good this year?"
Kids in the US have some opportunities to talk with 'Santa' at events such as at the library and mall. They sit on Santa's lap and talk to him. Santa usually asks, "What would you like for Christmas?" "Have you been good this year?" My kids have no material desire and have no attachment to things. They don't have anything that they really want, so they aren't able to answer Santa's question. Poor Santa, my kids make his job hard.

This is near the entrance of Toys R Us. It says 'Nice kids enter here.'
Yes, my kids have been nice kids this year, too! Or should I say, they're excellent kids!

Just FYI, the top picture is of a Santa statue that's being sold at Michael's. Retail price is $500, but now, it's on sale for $400?! Wonder if anyone buys going to buy this!
