今日は、娘のクラスでボランティアしてきました！
I volunteered at my daughter's class today!

娘からクラスメートたちがどんな子かは、聞いていたけど。。。５歳児、本当にいろんな子がいて、びっくり。
I knew what kind of students there were in her class since my daughter tells me all about them...but wow, there are so many different types of five year olds! 

クラスルーム内を走り回ってる子、 手を上げずに先生にずっとしゃべりたがる子、お弁当を持ってきたと言って、先生がその子のランチバック（お弁当が入ってるバック）の中を見たら、アップルソースだけ入ってた子など。もちろん、問題児ばかりではなく、先生の指示に従い、テキパキと作業をする子も何人か。
There was a student running around in the classroom, another student talking all the time without raising her hand, another student who said he had his lunch, but when the teacher opened his lunch bag, he only had apple sauce, etc. Of course, not everyone is a troublemaker...there are students who follow the teacher's instructions and can focus on their task. 

みんな個性豊かで面白い。漫画が描けそうなぐらい色々な「事件」がありそう。でも、先生、大変だな〜と思いました。先生曰く、いつもは、こんなに騒がしくないそう。
Everyone is unique and it was fun. I think it'd be possible to write a comic book based on all the 'incidents' in this classroom. How difficult it must be to be a teacher! According to the teacher, the kids are usually a little more well-behaved. 

ハロウィン前なので、みんなお菓子を食べ過ぎてるのかな？！
Maybe since it's before Halloween, they've been having too much candy?!

ボランティア、楽しかった〜！！
I had so much fun volunteering!!
