shopping2

In the US, holiday season is about...

shopping!!

We give presents to relatives, friends and even teachers.

And while shopping, is it only me, or do we all want something for ourselves?

Some things that I've always wanted goes on sale, so I feel like rewarding myself by buying it. What I'm planning to buy for myself is a secret for now.

Here's some example sentences that's related to rewarding yourself.

例文:
Example sentence:

This is a present for myself.

I deserve this.

I worked so hard this year, so I'm going to treat myself to something nice.

I'm going to treat myself by getting my nails done!

This is my reward for working so hard.

In my case, I get a moment of me time while I'm driving my daughter to school in the morning at 7:30am. I look forward to drinking my special morning drink at that time.

なので、This drink is my reward for working so hard!
So, 'This drink is my reward for working so hard!'

And what is this drink? It's not a Frappuccino! It's in a glass Frappuccino bottle, but it's strong dandelion root tea and homemade almond milk. It's creamy, but has a bitter taste like coffee. Even though there's no caffeine, it really wakes me up! And drinking from this glass bottle makes me feel like this drink is a super fancy drink.

This is sort of random, but I see quite a few people drinking from a mug or thermos while heading off to work, taking a walk, and driving their kids to school. I even see people holding a mug while taking a walk with their dogs.
